My husband and I walk along the Lafayette River near our home at sunrise or sunset. We often stop to marvel and snap photos of the undulating water reflections at golden hour, the time of day where the sun is low on the horizon, casting a vibrant glow against every surface it touches. This painting is a summation of all those moments and captures the energy we feel when we watch this daily miracle take place. The golden reflections are metallic that appear to change with the light in the room.
